Professor Uday Apte, of the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy, Naval Postgraduate School, has been named Distinguished Professor for 2014.
A Distinguished Professorship is the highest honor a university can award to one of its professors. This achievement recognizes "extraordinary, internationally renowned scholarly attainment in an individual's discipline or field, along with distinctive contributions and outstanding service to the organization in support of its mission."
In addition to being Professor of Operations Management at NPS, Uday teaches Process Design and Lean Six Sigma for both MASHOM and MASHLM.
