MASHLM 02 graduate Alberto Livoni returned to USI on April 11 to brief the MASHLM 04 & 05 classes about the aid agency he works with, MEDAIR. Alberto has 25 years of field experience in the humanitarian sector working in Africa, Middle East and Central Asia countries.
MEDAIR provides both emergency relief and recovery services focusing on three main areas; water and sanitation, health and nutrition, and shelter. Medair is currently active in South Sudan, Afghanistan, Chad, DRC, and Haiti, as well as in Jordan and Beirut in response to the current crisis in Syria.
